FOUNDERS

Arcal was founded by sisters Daniela and Andrea Quintero, united by a shared sensibility for design and storytelling. Their collaborative approach blends structure with intuition, resulting in work that is thoughtful, elevated, and distinctly cohesive.

Daniela Quintero

Co-founder

Daniela Quintero is a multidisciplinary designer with a background defined by both strategic depth and refined execution. She graduated magna cum laude from Universidad de los Andes and later earned a Master’s in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design in New York, supported by full merit scholarships.

Her early career was shaped within globally recognized firms including Superunion (WPP), Wunderman Thompson NYC, and Aluzian, where she developed a rigorous approach to branding, innovation, and systems thinking.

At Arcal, Daniela leads the studio’s strategic and creative direction, ensuring that each project is grounded in clarity and translated into precise, enduring visual identities. Her work is characterized by a balance of analytical structure and aesthetic sensitivity—where complexity is distilled into thoughtful, impactful design.

Andrea Quintero

Co-founder

Andrea Quintero is an Art Director and PR specialist whose work is rooted in a deep understanding of luxury, culture, and visual storytelling. She holds a double degree in Advertising and Design from UCA (Argentina) and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano (Colombia), bringing a multidisciplinary perspective that bridges creative expression with strategic positioning.

Before co-founding Arcal, Andrea developed her practice within the contemporary art world, exhibiting internationally and participating in curated showcases at SUGA Art Gallery, Galería Casa Cuadrada, and La Garza. Her background in photography from Escuela Motivarte, combined with her experience leading high-profile PR initiatives within the global polo industry, informs her distinct visual sensibility.

At Arcal, Andrea leads Art Direction and Commercial Strategy, shaping the studio’s visual language with a focus on elegance, narrative, and curated detail. Her approach ensures that each project resonates both aesthetically and culturally.
