Emissary is a daytime café and wine bar based in Miami. Their mission is to create an authentic, timeless neighborhood spot that blends the traditions of a European café, West Coast coffeehouse, and Miami’s ventanitas. The menu emphasizes organic, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients, featuring a Counter Culture coffee program and a curated selection of beers and wines from independent producers.

Arcal was entrusted with creating a unique brand identity and packaging for Emissary, inspired by the concept of an emissary—a messenger on a mission to unite people. Drawing from vintage bicycles, a symbol of timeless journeys and community, we developed a brand that evokes the spirit of movement, connection, and shared purpose.

The logo, set in bold italics, conveys both motion and sophistication, echoing the smooth ride of a bicycle and the restaurant’s role as a modern-day emissary. Just as a bicycle weaves through neighborhoods, delivering messages and fostering connections, the brand communicates a warm, approachable atmosphere.
