Mâkua

MÂKUA is a Colombian jewelry brand that works with indigenous communities and combines their ancestral artisanal techniques with contemporary jewelry. 

Arcal was tasked with revamping Mâkua’s complementary language and editorial design for the brand’s press kit. To convey the brand essence, Arcal created an identity system inspired by jungle references. The complementary visual language includes a variety of plant illustrations, earthy subtle tones and simple, minimalistic layouts. The end result is sophisticated, clean and has a slight natural edge to it.
